Time spent completing forms and preparing reports takes GPs away from the NHS medical care of patients, which will always be the main priority.
Non-NHS (Private) letters and reports require payment. The minimum fee is £36.00, which covers preparation work. Depending on the type of letter or report there may be additional costs. All fees are payable at the time of your request and are non-refundable, even if you decide you no longer need the work doing.
Please note that Granta Medical Practices cannot carry out some of the more specialised medicals such as PADI and CAA PPL.
Please allow up to 30 days for the completion of your request due to the GPs’ priorities and workload. If your request needs to be completed within one week the fee chargeable will be doubled. For example, a one page To Whom It May Concern letter will cost £72.00 if required within one week. This applies to all letters and forms.
