Service Update: Microsuction Provision

Unfortunately, Granta Medical Practices will no longer be providing microsuction services for patients across the wider county. This has been a difficult decision, but after careful review by both Granta and the ICB, it has become clear that continuing to deliver this service is no longer viable within our current resources.

We are extremely proud of the care we have provided over the years and the positive feedback we have received from both patients and colleagues. It has been a privilege to support our community with this specialised service.

If you are a patient requiring information around ear wax removal please speak to either your own GP practice or local pharmacist in the first instance. If you are a primary care healthcare professional further information about future referral routes will be shared to all clinicians via the Primary Care Update. 

We remain committed to delivering high-quality care and thank all patients, referring practices, and NHS partners for their support and collaboration.
