You can use the NHS App as your Covid Vaccine Pass. To find out further information about the NHS App and to sign up, click here. The NHS App is separate to the NHS Covid-19 app, which is used for contact tracing. For further information on how to access the Covid Pass click here.

Please be mindful that not all countries accept proof of vaccination. Please check  the current foreign travel guidelines in plenty of time before you travel.

Unfortunately, there is not currently a central mechanism for capturing details of overseas Covid vaccines and only vaccines given in the UK can be accepted as evidence for UK Covid certification / the NHS Covid Pass. A technical solution to support the recording of vaccinations given overseas is currently in development by NHS Digital.

If you are registered with us and have had a vaccination overseas, we can only record the details as free text in the clinical notes section of your medical record.
